The Circular Fashion project – “Promoting inclusiveness, active citizenship and environmental awareness of young people with fewer opportunities through circular fashion practices” – addresses the urgent need to engage disadvantaged youth in the green transition through inclusive, creative, and skills-based learning opportunities.
Funded under the Erasmus+ KA220-YOU action, the project combines circular economy principles with non-formal education to empower young people—particularly those from migrant, disabled, and low-skilled backgrounds—by enhancing their competences, creativity, and sense of civic and environmental responsibility.
Through tailored training, digital tools, and community-based activities, Circular Fashion aims to promote reuse, redesign, and repair practices in fashion as a vehicle for youth empowerment, inclusion, and active participation in sustainable development.
