Wind at the Back

Description of the project

The Wind at the Back project is an innovative youth initiative aiming to enhance the employability of socially and economically disadvantaged young people, including NEETs, migrants and refugees, and young people living in rural and coastal areas, within the sustainable blue economy sector. The project seeks to strengthen young people’s access to career opportunities in the blue economy while equipping youth workers and trainers with the knowledge, tools, and methodologies needed to effectively support them throughout this process.

Aim of the Project

The main objective of the project is to guide young people towards career opportunities in the blue economy through an inclusive, sustainable, and innovative approach, while strengthening the capacity of youth workers and establishing long-lasting links between young people and blue economy employers.

The project supports young people in entering the labour market in a more informed and confident manner and aims to contribute to the environmental and social sustainability of the blue economy.
