The aim of ECOTEACH project is to develop, test and adopt innovative practices and new curricula, courses, blended learning materials and hands-on tools for the acquisition of skills and competences in science and maths for disadvantaged schools and students through effective and innovative teaching and assessment models of EBL.
By doing so, the project will contribute to:
– Raise awareness of School teachers, educators and youth workers to the importance of learner-centred approaches that make students active when teaching science and maths.
– Provide disadvantaged students with access to pedagogical and training services tailored to their needs to relate to the environment and its social challenges.
– Establish a community of practice in school education and the teaching of science, maths and STEM approach to share information and improve skills and competences to adapt learning to students’ challenges and experiences related to the environment.
– Strengthen partners’ capacity to innovate and collaborate with other organisations, to co-create shared solutions and to establish new pedagogical approaches.
